At one point in her career, Jessica Simpson was the hottest thing to grace the red carpets, and men fell at her feet.
In her recently released piece for Amazon Original Stories, titled "Movie Star: They Always Say They're Single," she revealed a secret fling she had with an A-lister.
However, much to everyone's dismay, Simpson does not kiss and tell-or at least doesn't tell who she kissed.
All the singer had to say about the mystery actor was that he was her "teenage fantasy" and that he "made millions and millions per film."
During her break from 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, she narrated how she was introduced to "movie star." Apparently, he gave her his number, but she didn't call him.
Simpson shared that she eventually ran into him again-given that the Hollywood circle isn't too big-and they struck up a conversation, in which she invited him to be her leading man in her upcoming music video.
According to reports, "movie star" did not end up becoming her leading man, and she got back together with Lachey shortly after.
Although it was short-lived, "movie star" and Simpson's interaction definitely left a lasting effect, because several years later, she ran into him again, after her divorce from Lachey.
"I felt this warm rush all the way down my body to the tips of my toes in my wedges," she wrote about her experience kidding the mystery man for the first time.
They inevitably had a fling, and "movie star" insisted that he was single; however, he was, in fact, taken during their fling.
"He texted me throughout the awards show. The event was so huge that it made me feel special that every beautiful woman in Hollywood was there and he wanted me. In fact, there was one other beautiful woman in his life: his girlfriend.
"The truth is I was scared to death and I wanted to leave. I still thought I was a total babe, but I was just not going to sleep with him.
"Yes, there was something sexy and enticing about all this, but there was also something demeaning about it. I felt like a call girl," she wrote.
Simpson added that she vowed that she was "never in a million years going to be the other woman," and ended the fling.
Writing the short story, the singer explained how wild her younger years were, and how much she's grown since then.
"There were times I had a lot of fun, don't get me wrong! But a lot of the time it felt isolating because I am someone who likes to deeply connect with people and I didn't know who was trustworthy and who was not."
