Britney Spears is known to be a very loving and supportive mother, despite being torn away from her sons because of the nasty conservatorship.
However, regardless of her best efforts, it is also quite known that her sons want little to do with the "Toxic" singer-much to her dismay.
That's probably why she admires Pamela Anderson and her sons so much; they have a relationship she wishes she has with her own sons.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Spears gushed about Anderson: "I'm such a fan of Pamela Anderson. She was the only sex icon at one time in America and she still is!"
Aside from fangirling over the "Baywatch" actress, she also gave Anderson's sons a shoutout.
"I really respect the fact that her children stood up for her relating to the fact that people were trying to sell her story from the past," she wrote.
"They said, 'Why the hell bring up things that happened 20 years ago if that really messed up my mom?'"
Anderson was infamously married to artist Tommy Lee in the late '90's. Their relationship was tumultuous and well-documented.
"He went on to say because of the embarrassment she went through a very dark period in her life ... I mean when I read THAT, I was like damn!" Spears wrote about Anderson's sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee.
According to the New York Post, Brandon produced the recently released Netflix documentary "Pamela, a Love Story" and helped out with Anderson's memoir "Love, Pamela."
Much like Anderson, Spears has been subjected to her fair share of documentaries, but she has expressed her dismay.
"With four documentaries released about me last year with people I adore speaking about my past. That alone was almost as hard as what I went through in my past," she said.
"Unfortunately the way my past was portrayed in these documentaries was extremely embarrassing. It felt semi-illegal."
"Pamela gave me an understanding that people should support you exactly where you are in that moment of your life ... unless cruelty rules the world," she added.
Spears' relationship with her sons, Jayden and Preston, is a rocky one. She was torn from her sons when they were just children because of her conservatorship and did not regain custody of them until 2008.
On several instances, the "Oops I Did It Again" singer expressed her dismay and disappointment with her sons publicly.
According to reports, her sons even refused to attend her wedding; "The boys have decided they are not seeing [Spears] right now. It's been a few months since they've seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding."
