Chris Brown realized how wrong his reaction was when he learned that he lost best R&B album to Robert Glasper, because he quickly apologized.

Apparently, Brown reached out to Glasper himself to apologize and shared a screenshot of his message: "Congratulations my brother.. I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys,

"You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean. After doing my research I actually think you're amazing."

The apology comes shortly after the 33-year-old singer's outraged reaction-which, by the way, was done publicly. "Y'all playing. Who the f**k is this?"

According to Page Six, Brown was not content with asking who the artist was once; he expressed his disbelief three times and even mocked him.

"I gotta get my skills up," he wrote. "Ima start playing the harmonica."

Fans criticized him for questioning Glasper, his ability, and his talent. After all, Glasper is a well-connected, celebrated, and very talented artist.

According to Billboard, the artist has success in not only the R&B genre but as well as jazz and hip-hop. He has worked with several of the industry's biggest artists like Kendrick Lamar, HER, TY Dolla $ign, Lauryn Hill, Mos Def, Jill Scott, and more.

In fact, his descriptions in Google did not give him or his accomplishments any justice. It simply described Glasper as "an American pianist, record producer, songwriter, and musical arranger with a career that bridges several different musical and artistic genres."

Brown's lengthy apology continues: "The organization isn't doing us blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category. Two totally different vibes and genres. So from one black man to another. Congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G."

As of this writing, Glasper is yet to publicly comment on Brown's "temper tantrum" or his apology.
