Britney Spears' closest friends and family have been scared over the pop star's recent behavior and are afraid that "she would die" leading them to host an intervention, but failed to do so; why did their plans get canceled?
According to a report by a news outlet, the musician, who was freed from her conservatorship in November 2021, alarmed those close to her after showing negative behavioral patterns caused by her taking medications which cause her to act differently
However, sources told the outlet that the "Hold Me Closer" songstress stopped taking her meds that stabilize her moods, leading them to act immediately and rent a house in Los Angeles for a while in hopes to stage an intervention. They reportedly did all of this without telling the pop star.
Insiders further explained the main plan, saying the family's goal is to take Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, to the rented house along with other medical professionals, her manager, and an "interventionist" on Tuesday.
They wanted the singer to receive professional help like medical treatment and psychological counseling in the span of two months, but their plans got halted after the musician became "somewhat aware" of what was happening.
Despite the plan not working out, Daily Mail UK reported that singer agreed to consult a doctor on Wednesday that "went well."
As of this writing, Spears has yet to confirm whether the recent news reports about her were true or not.

Britney Spears Calls Out Fans After Authorities Visited Her
The recent reports about the alleged intervention come after The Ventura County Sherrif's Office confirmed that there were fans who called their station, asking them to do a wellness check on the pop star. Supporters of Spears have been concerned about her safety after she deleted her account on Instagram. Authorities later noted that they visited the singer at her home and she was not in danger. However, it's unknown if it was really the musician who spoke to them, not her representative.
Britney Spears later took to social media to address the incident, saying she loves the support she's been getting from fans but noted that she felt invaded after the police got involved.
"The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately," she wrote.
