Britney Spears' mental health issues reportedly got worse in the past months.

Following the removal of her conservatorship, Spears constantly shows her freedom publicly. She often posts online and even shares everything she was not allowed to share before.

However, her recent depressive episode left everyone extremely worried about her health.

Radar Online quoted sources who claimed that the "Toxic" singer has been going through worse due to her rocky relationship with her sons. The unnamed insiders said people around Spears are concerned about her being "very depressed."

One source said one of the biggest factors that triggered her depression was her lack of communication with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden. It was revealed that the children temporarily stopped seeing their mother.

"The problem is she is very sad that her sons won't see her, she feels awful about it, it is a big hole in her heart," the source continued. "She is a mother of two boys and she never sees them, I think any mother would be heartbroken over that."

The current setup reportedly pushed her to allegedly abuse Adderall again, causing her friends to describe her as a "ticking time bomb."

What Happened to Britney Spears' Sons?

Spears spoke about her children and their relationship several times in the past years.

In one Instagram post, Spears opened up about feeling bittersweet to see them grow older. But as she continues to post NSFW photos and videos online, her ex-husband Kevin Federline revealed that both Sean Preston and Jayden decided to avoid her because of her "disrespectful actions and choices."

Speaking with The Daily Mail, Federline said the boys decided not to see her anytime soon. Sean Preston and Jayden reportedly chose not to attend her wedding to Sam Asghari because of her social media posts.

Although the patriarch tried to make them understand that Spears only wants to "express herself," the children reportedly still feel uncomfortable attending their schools.

Federline's statement resonated with what Jayden said during an interview with "60 Minutes Australia" (via Access). At that time, he did not side with her and said Spears did not know how much his grandfather, Jamie, cared about her.

Jamie Spears, who oversaw her conservatorship, repeatedly told the court that Britney Spears' mental health issues caused her to undergo a lot of treatments. She was diagnosed with several issues, including bipolar disorder.
