Beyonce's "Renaissance" was one of the most critically-acclaimed albums of 2022, so it's no surprise that many of her fans and even the general public were stunned that she did not receive the highest award of the night - Album of the Year.
Backlash surrounding The Recording Academy and their refusal to give Beyonce the Album of the Year award for so long hit an all-time high when it was given to Harry Styles's "Harry's House" last week.
Despite not getting the biggest award of the night, Beyonce was the most-awarded solo artist of the night, and she tied with Maverick City Music, who also got four Gramophones at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
Beyonce made history as she got her 32nd Grammy Award after winning Best Dance/Electronic Album with "Renaissance," making her the most awarded artist in Grammy history.
She also won Best Dance Recording with "Break My Soul," and Best Traditional R&B Performance with "Plastic Off The Sofa."
But perhaps the most celebrated win she got that night was winning Best R&B Song for "Cuff It," his second most popular song from "Renaissance."
Since "Cuff It" won at the Grammys, it has experienced a Post-Grammy spike in streaming and sales.
According to Billboard, "Cuff It" has amassed more than 55.8 million radio airplay impressions and 9.4 million streams since last week. It has also sold more than 78,000 units in its tracking week.
With Beyonce's "Cuff It" returning to the Top 10, it has now surpassed its initial placement on the Billboard Hot 100. "Cuff It" has now peaked at No. 6, it's highest ranking yet, besting its Top 10 debut last September 2022.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus enjoys her fourth week at the summit with "Flowers," making it her longest-reigning No. 1 song. "Wrecking Ball" only lasted three weeks in 2013.
SZA's "Kill BIll" is mighty at No. 2, while Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" vaulted to No. 3, as Sam Smith and Kim Petras ascended to No. 4.
The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, and 21 Savage's "Creepin'" dipped to No. 5, while Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" notched its lowest point at No. 7.
"Die For You" by The Weekend closes at No. 8, Bebe Rexha and David Guetta's "I'm Good (Blue) at No. 9, while Harry Styles' BRITS Award-winning song "As It Was" closes the Top 10.
