Kid Cudi-Inspired Sneakers, Designed By Giuseppe Zanotti, To Go On Sale In 2015

Last week, rapper Kid Cudi posted a few photos to his Twitter account showing off a new pair of red sneakers, which were designed for him by Italian footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti, apparently inspired by Cudi's own fashion sense. Now, it has been announced that Zanotti's Kid Cudi-inspired sneakers will be made available for purchase in 2015. You can check out photos of the sneakers below.

As can be expected of sneakers designed by a fashion icon and inspired by a rapper, they're the sorts of shoes that are going to raise a few eyebrows. They're red nappa leather high-tops with cartoonishly oversized padded straps (for all those fashion-savvy guys who never learned how to tie their own shoes), thick white soles, and a huge tongue with Zanotti's brand printed across it. It's the type of shoe that only a rapper can get away with wearing, pretty much.

The shoes will be made available for purchase as part of Giuseppe Zanotti's spring/summer line-up in 2015. If you want to check out some other artists who have their own sneaker designs, you can check out this Music Times list from a few months ago.

When he’s not busy trying on shoes that were specially designed for him, Kid Cudi also records and releases hip-hop albums. His most recent album was Satellite Flight: The Journey To Mother Moon, which was released back in February through Republic Records.
