Trouble had come to Billie Eilish's Los Angeles home on Wednesday afternoon when a flurry of police cars and officers appeared in response to an emergency call.
As it turned out, this was just an elaborate prank by someone trying to create a disturbance - thankfully, everything at the residence was alright.
Sources close to the singer confirmed to TMZ that when police arrived, they got in touch with her team, who assured them that all was well.
Fortunately, it was just a false alarm for Billie and her family on Wednesday.
However, not too long ago, they also encountered a serious problem at the residence where Billie spent her childhood and her parents still reside.
Last month, a man named Christopher Anderson forced his way into the family home of the "Happier Than Ever" singer and her brother Finneas.
To protect herself, her parents, and her brother from further intrusion, the Grammy award-winning singer took out a 5-year restraining order against Christopher, who had professed his love for the singer.
Consequently, the order should provide security for the entire family.
Recently, Billie has been the latest to be named in a long list of celebrities dealing with intrusive phone calls.
It all started a few weeks back when some of Britney Spears' fans were so concerned after she deleted her Instagram page that they called the police to check up on her.
Fortunately, it turned out that the controversial pop princess was doing okay, and law enforcement soon left without incident.
