Tim Aymar, popularly known for being the vocalist of Pharaoh and Control Denied, has passed away at the age of 59.
According to Metal Insider, the musician's death was confirmed by his Pharaoh bandmates by taking to social media to share a heartbreaking announcement.
Surviving members took to their official Facebook page, writing, "We are very sorry to share the awful news of the passing of Pharaoh's one and only singer, Tim Aymar."
The group later recalled the life of the singer, saying he meant so much to a lot of people, and their hearts are now filled with sadness, but also good memories of the late musician.
"We look forward to sharing some of our own memories when the right time has come. Until then, we are joined in sorrow and gratitude with all of Tim's family, friends, fans, and fellow musicians," they added.
The post was signed by Matt Johnsen, Chris Black, and Chris Kerns.
Control Denied founder Chuck Schuldiner also confirmed his good pal's passing in a post, sharing their deepest and most sincere condolences to Aymar's friends and family.
As of this writing, the musician's official cause of death remains unknown to the public, however, his friend Wayne Andrews issued a statement to address the ongoing speculations about the manner of his death.
Into the Wells' Facebook page noted that there have been rumors about him dying because of food poisoning, but Andrews noted that "everything about Tim's death right now is all speculation."

Tim Aymar Early Life and Career
Born on September 4, 1963, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the musician was popularly known as being the vocalist of Pharaoh and Control Denied.
The latter band was founded by Schuldiner and his vocals have been used countless times on the group's songs throughout the years.
Before becoming a singer for the bands mentioned above, he had been working as a vocalist since 1985 and he began with the group 313. He was also affiliated with Triple X and Psych Scream, where he met Jim Dofka who introduced him to Schuldiner.
His latest known musical project was the album "IV" with Angband released in 2020.
Throughout his run with Pharaoh, he was able to record six studio albums including "The Longest Night," "Bury the Light," "Ten Years," "The Powers That Be," and many more.
