Olivia Newton-John may have died last year, but her legacy will continue to be honored in the generations to come because of her contribution to the music and film industry back when she was alive. To remember the late singer's voice and dedication to music, a compilation album will be released later this year featuring some of the best musicians in the world.

According to KTLO, the late "Grease" star's team will drop a new record titled "Just the Two of Us: The Duets Collection Volume One" on May 5, 2023.

The upcoming album will feature artists such as Michael McDonald, Mariah Carey, Barry Gibb, Jon Secada, and her on-screen lover, John Travolta.

The first single from the project, a duet of "Jolene" with Dolly Parton, has already been released and is currently available for streaming on major music platforms.

The track was accompanied by a music video featuring the two legends singing in separate recording studios. The outlet noted that the visuals were recorded shortly before the musician passed away.

In a statement, the country legend, who was inducted at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last year, said, "I cannot wait to hear that album and Olivia may you rest in peace. You left a spot that one else will ever fill."

Parton said Newton-John was one of her "favorites" and closest friends and revealed that they constantly get in touch with each other after meeting in 1974.

As of this writing, the official tracklist of the late legend's album has yet to be released to the public, but ABC Audio confirmed that her duet with Mariah Carey will be "Hopelessly Devoted to You," taken from a TV special in 1998.

On the other hand, Chloe Lattanzi, Newton-John's daughter, will also make an appearance in the album.

In the conversation, the daughter revealed the emotional last words that her mother told her, saying, "The last words she could say to me was, 'My sunshine."
