An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together" wrote Jacobs alongside his post. He stated that he was "profoundly honored to have contributed creatively... Thank you Jesus!!!"

Fans wonder how he could have ended his life after praising Jesus and being son happy with this milestone.

"Hello World" was certified gold by Curb Records in November 2021, and its breakthrough single "One of Them Girls" was certified double platinum, while "Memory I Don't Mess With" was certified gold.

At the time, "Hard to Love," which appeared on Brice's sophomore album, was a four-time platinum single. According to All Music, Jacobs composed and produced the album Hello World.

In addition, he played acoustic guitar and sang backing vocals.

Friday at 1:19 p.m. local time, the Nashville Police Department stated in a statement shared with PEOPLE that the Department of Emergency Communications was alerted to a residence.

Authorities and the Nashville Fire Department found the deceased songwriter at the scene, according to their statement. He was 49. His death is currently being examined as a possible suicide.

The 36-year-old former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant told cops that she awoke shortly before but could not locate Jacobs. According to the statement, she and her personal assistant called the police after they were unable to enter the door to a room in the residence.

According to Music City Hitmakers, in 2000 Jacobs migrated from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Nashville. He notably penned the 2007 hit "More Than A Memory" by Garth Brooks and "Still" by Tim McGraw. He has also collaborated with Kelly Clarkson, Randy Travis, Scott McCreery, Josh Kelley, and Clay Walker, among others. Jacobs received a CMA Award, an ACM Award, and was nominated for a Grammy Award over the course of his career. In 2011, he and Pickler married in a secret ceremony. The couple had no children.
