Is 50 Cent finally releasing a new album?
50 Cent's fans have been waiting for the rapper to release a new album as he has not dropped a studio album since his 2014 "Animal Ambition." Due to his busy schedule outside the hip-hop industry, he said he would not release a new album anytime soon.
But he has seemingly had a change of heart when he revealed in a recent interview with Billboard that he would love to be in the recording studio again. But he noted that he would write if he got an idea that aligns with his current media projects.
"I just went out and toured 45 countries, and everywhere was sold out," he said. "That made me want to offer new music that I could integrate into everything now. I've done what I wanted to do in the (sales) capacity. I've sold over 35 million records. Not singles - albums."
In a previous interview with People following the success of his "Surviving El Chapo" podcast, the rapper said he wants to give his fans shows instead.
At the same time, he hyped everyone by confirming he was working on his ideas for possible tracks.
