Fans of the late singer Amy Winehouse complained to the late singer's father that the actress playing their idol in a new film did not look anything like her.
The late singer's father responded by stating that there is simply too much attention placed on looks. But after learning that Eddie Marsan, who played Mitch Winehouse in "The Pact," would be playing him in the movie, Mitch Winehouse changed his mind.
He stated that when he told his pal that Eddie was playing him, he swored and even said that the actor is not "very good-looking."
He responded by saying that he is aware of the fact and wanted George Clooney to play him.
Mitch, who is 72 years old and serves as an administrator of his daughter's estate, has lent his support to the new movie, Back to Black, with the expectation that a portion of the profits will be donated to the charity that was established in her honor.
Yet, jokes about casting aside, the former taxi driver has insisted that at least some of his faults are exposed on screen, and he has admitted to having disagreements with director Sam Taylor-Johnson about how he is portrayed.
In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, he stated that he actually sent the first script back becaise it made him look like a saint and ought to be knighted.

Shooting began in London a month ago, but photographs from the scene aroused fears that the film's star, Marisa Abela, who is 26 years old and stars in the BBC banking drama Industry, did not look like Ms. Winehouse and could not match her wonderful voice.
Marisa Abela, who played the role of Amy Winehouse in the film "Back to Black", was a controversial casting choice. She was even excessively criticized for the selection.
"Back To Black" is seen as a counterbalance to the acclaimed but tragically sad documentary Amy, which was released in 2015 and cast Mitch in a negative light because Fifty Shades of Grey director Taylor-Johnson was one of Amy's friends.
"Back To Black" was directed by Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson. Nevertheless, Amy's mother Janis, who is now a trustee of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, claims that the new project has resurrected traumatic memories of her estranged husband's long-running romance with another woman.
Janis is 67 years old. Janis, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, has voiced her displeasure with the way that EastEnders star Juliet Cowan portrays her on the show.
She said, "I was horrified. I've been made to look like a doormat. I'm shown as a feeble, tired woman, slouching on the couch. When Amy was growing up, I was a hard-working, outgoing single mother studying for two university degrees."
