Ray J Pleads Not Guilty To Groping Charges

Singer Ray J has pled not guilty to charges alleging that he groped a woman at a Beverly Wilshire hotel bar and resisting arrest after.

According to the Huffington Post, Ray J the "Sexy Can I" crooner pled not guilty Tuesday (Aug. 19).

Los Angeles County prosecutors say he entered the plea to misdemeanor charges of sexual battery, vandalism, battery on a police officer and resisting a peace officer.

Brandy's little brother is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing Aug. 28.

Ray J reportedly resisted arrest following the groping incident and got rowdy shattering a police car window.

Aside from his legal troubles, Ray J was recently announced as an official cast member of VH1's forthcoming series Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood.

He will be joined by rapper-producer Soulja Boy, MMG singer Omarion, former B2K member Lil' Fizz and Teairra Mari.

As previously reported, the series will highlight Ray J's budding relationship with best friend and executive assistant Morgan Hardman. Soulja will appear on the show with his girlfriend Nia Riley, the daughter of Teddy Riley.

Soulja Boy's ex-fling Diamond currently stars on Oxygen's new series Sisterhood of Hip-Hop.

Omarion allows viewers into his life as he prepares to start a family with backup vocalist Apryl Jones. He's joined by his former B2K bandmate Lil' Fizz who is considering settling down with his lover Amanda Secor.

The cast also includes Yung Berg, rapper Hazel E, Power 106 DJ Yesi Ortiz, club promoter Sincere, and real estate heir Nikki Mudarris.

Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood is slated to premiere September 15 at 8 p.m.
