John Mayer has something to worry about again five years after his home robbery incident as an intruder was recently spotted at his property in Los Angeles, California; how was the singer?

According to Page Six, a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that there was a trespassing incident that happened at the musician's home, but they didn't give more information about what truly happened that evening.

However, insiders spoke to a news outlet, confirming that authorities were called last month after a trespasser was spotted by the "Your Body Is A Wonderland" singer's security team.

Fortunately, Mayer was not at home at the time of the incident.

By the time cops arrived, they immediately searched the outdoor part of the singer's home, but they reportedly didn't go inside. Per sources, authorities didn't think the intruder was able to gain access inside the house as the musician's team said the alarm system wasn't triggered.

To make sure there was no stranger around the property, a police helicopter also got involved in searching around the area, but an intruder was not found.

The outlet noted that there was no one arrested regarding the incident and there was no update on whether an investigation is still going on or not.

As of this writing, John Mayer has not publicly commented on the matter.

Not The First Time John Mayer Had Experience With an Intruder

This was not the first time the Death and Company vocalist experienced such an incident as his home was reportedly ransacked nearly five years ago.

In early reports, an intruder got inside the musician's home in Beverly Hills by smashing a window of a bedroom.

The suspect ransacked the home and got away with personal items and music equipment. The person also stole some of the singer's watches (John Mayer is popularly known for having an extensive timepiece collection).

There were reportedly no people present around the property at the time of the robbery. Police were called after a security guard noticed the broken window.

Law enforcement sources revealed that a total of $100,000 to $200,000 worth of items were stolen.

As of this writing, no suspects were arrested and the apparent burglar was not identified. The outlet also noted that John Mayer wasn't home at the time.
