When NBA Youngboy debuted on a tune from Quavo and Takeoff's (Unc & Nephew) "Only Built for Infinity Links" album, fans were ecstatic to see what visual they would create. Especially with the 2020 release of his most recent collaboration with the Migos, "I Need It."

Regrettably, the scenario never occurred. The collaborative composition "To The Bone" received only a visualizer as opposed to an actual music video featuring all three musicians.

NBA Youngboy recently explained to the host of Rap Radar, Elliot Willson, why the video never came together, citing a slight setback as the reason.

"Quavo sent me the song," he said. "They came out here to do the video, but I think something happened. And it had me in a f*cked up mood. So, I had canceled the video. I regret it, though. It's okay, though."

Takeoff, one-half of the trio Unc & Phew, was shot and died while attending a private event in Houston in November of last year. Quavo and a few other buddies joined the 28-year-old rapper at a bowling alley, but according to accounts, it was a dice game that led to the fight.

One individual has been arrested thus far in connection with the rapper's death; Patrick Clark was later released on $1 million bond. During his performance at the 2023 Grammy Awards, Quavo recently paid homage to his former groupmate and nephew.

Migos artist Takeoff died unexpectedly in Houston on November 1, 2022, after attending a private party with 40 to 50 guests. He was only 28, thus many people are curious as to how and who caused Takeoff's death.

The career of Takeoff was cruelly cut short. In a 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, he expressed excitement about his trajectory, stating, "it's a blessing. It's only the beginning though. You ain't seen nothing yet." In Texas, the rapper was tragically shot.

According to People, Police Chief Troy Finner confirmed Takeoff's death during a press conference.

According to many witnesses and law police, as reported by TMZ, the incident occurred on November 1, 2022, shortly after 2:30 a.m. Takeoff and Quavo, Takeoff's uncle and Migos bandmate, were playing dice in a bowling alley when an incident happened and 911 was called.

Five bullets were heard on the recording of the call to emergency dispatchers that was released by TMZ. "What does she require?" Quavo remarked in one 911 phone recording.

TMZ reports that a woman at the scene identified herself as a nurse and offered assistance to Takeoff. Authorities stated at a press conference that security personnel at the event heard the gunfire but did not see the perpetrator. In a video, Quavo appears to attempt to lift his injured nephew before setting him down and shouting for assistance. According to unverified social media allegations from putative witnesses, an argument over the dice game sparked the shooting. Takeoff, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, was reportedly shot in or near the head and proclaimed dead at the scene, according to multiple news sources.

Two further victims were shot and transported to the hospital in private vehicles, according to the police. Quavo was unharmed.
