Two weeks after her "unrecognizable" Grammys performance, Madonna officially acknowledged undergoing plastic surgery in a candid new Instagram post.
"Look how cute I am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol," she wrote along with a photo of her kicking back in ripped jeans and a "Spiritually Hungry" hat.
She did not disclose the nature of the procedure or the day she underwent it. While presenting at the Grammys earlier this month, the 64-year-old was criticized by fans for her clean face, sculpted cheeks, and full lips.
One fan tweeted that Madonna looks "refreshed."
While another tweeted that he's watching the #GRAMMYs, Madonna doesn't quite look like @Madonna to him.
Someone else wrote that Madonna should quit undergoing plastic surgery and embrace the aging process.
Currently, she is almost unrecognizable, based on fans' reactions.
According to Madonna, the "closeup" from a "long lens camera" caused her face to appear more big and puffy than it actually was.

She diagnosed the issue and added, "Once again, I am caught in the spotlight of ageism and misogyny, which permeates our world." Madonna declared it a "honor" to introduce Kim Petras, the first openly trans person to win a Grammy, and Sam Smith, who shared the duet prize and became the first openly non-binary artist to win in the Best Pop Duo/Group Collaboration category, in her lengthy caption.
She explained that she chose to introduce Petras instead of presenting for the Album of the Year award because she believed the former moment would be more significant and befit her pioneering status.
"She proceeded by stating that she would not apologize for "any of the creative choices I've made, nor for the way I appear or dress, and I will not start."
Recently, Madonna demonstrated for all time that she is a party girl by sharing a video of herself and her son, David Banda, dancing to their own beat.
The "Material Girl" singer, 65, posted her choreography to the song "Sorry" from her 2006 album Confessions on the Dance Floor to Instagram on Friday, February 17. Madonna made a pose in a red jacket emblazoned with the phrase "Not in the Mood" while her 17-year-old son performed breakdancing.
The family dance party follows an epic one that occurred during the holiday break with David's siblings. Madonna and David were joined by her five other children - Lourdes Leon, 26, Rocco Ritchie, 22, Mercy, 16, and twins Stella and Estere, 10 - for a moon party during their wonderful trip to Africa.
In the meanwhile, the legendary pop star had a night to remember at the 2023 Grammys and recently revealed what went on behind the scenes on music's biggest night. Madonna posted a video of her backstage antics with Cardi B and Sam Smith on Instagram on Tuesday, February 7. During her wild romp with all of your favorite singers, "Like a Virgin" singer had a brief PDA with rapper Jozzy.
