An old video of Hailey Bieber seemingly shading Taylor Swift has been making rounds on the internet recently, leading Selena Gomez to defend her best friend.
According to Page Six, a video shared by user @duckcopycat0 features Justin Bieber's wife in an old clip for the show "Drop the Mic" and Method Man, who seemingly brought up the pop star's hit album "Reputation."
"[Celebrities will perform] a one-on-one rap battle full of the meanest lyrics about a celebrity since Taylor Swift's last album," the rapper said in the short video.

The YouTube content creator then opened her mouth and pointed her finger to her tongue before shrugging her shoulders while looking straight to the camera.
"THISS is real Hailey 'Bieber' mean girl // matona," the user wrote in the caption along with snake emojis.
After the video went viral as it amassed over 300,000 views and thousands of comments on the social media platform, Selena Gomez reportedly took to the comment section to defend Taylor Swift.
"So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game," she wrote.
As of this writing, Hailey Bieber and the "Midnight Rain" singer have yet to address the matter.
Hailey Bieber co-hosted the show from 2017 to 2019 and the outlet noted that it's unclear when the episode aired, but she was not wearing her engagement ring at the time, hinting that the episode was broadcast earlier than 2018 when the singer popped the question.
Hailey Bieber Previously Shaded Taylor Swift
This was not the first time the Rhode Beauty founder shaded Taylor Swift as she seemingly noted in a previous interview that she's not a fan of her and her friends.
Speaking to Yahoo's Be, the model said she didn't "understand the Taylor Swift squad at all," adding she doesn't know what having a "squad" really means."
"I don't think that you need to create a public squad. I don't know what that proves, so I don't really understand the Taylor Swift squad at all," she noted. (via USA Today)
In other reports, Selena Gomez famously dated Justin Bieber for nearly a decade. They ended their relationship in 2018 before the latter proposed to his now-wife Hailey.
Many fans have been insinuating a feud between Selena and Hailey, but the latter clarified last year that they have no bad blood with each other.
