Ever since hitting the mainstream world of music, fans have noticed the similarities between Ava Max and Lady Gaga's faces as many of them pointed out that the two completely look like each other. More recently, the pop star expressed her true feelings about the comparisons between them.
Speaking in an interview with Nylon Magazine, the "Diamonds & Dancefloors" hitmaker opened up about getting negative comments on social media and being compared to the "Chromatica" singer which she finds "huuuh-larious."
The outlet noted that people have been comparing the two. Ava Max rose to fame in 2019 as both of them love to wear blonde wigs and have strong vocals whenever they sing.
"Who doesn't love Gaga?! I can't help that I look like this. I was born the way I was born too! I can't help that I'm 5-foot-2 as well," she said.
The Albanian pop star then questioned the public, asking if they wanted her to dye her hair black as she already did it before then they immediately compared her to Dua Lipa.
This was not the first time the "Sweet But Psycho" songstress reacted to the Lady Gaga issue as she previously spoke about her in an interview with SiriusXM Volume.
The musician gets it because of their blonde hair, pop music, and similar theatrics, and it's an honor for her to be compared because Gaga is "incredible."
"Never in a million years would I thought they would compare me to Lady Gaga and then it just started all of a sudden, I was like 'that's so cool,' I thought it was gonna be like, Mariah Carey," she added. (via That Grape Juice)
