Rihanna's halftime performance at Super Bowl LVII outraged many viewers, who contacted the FCC with complaints claiming her performance was excessively sexual.
Overall, those who felt obliged to file a complaint against Rihanna felt that the lyrics and dance were too sexualized, with some viewers even comparing it to porn.
TMZ got the 103 complaints submitted to the Federal Communications Commission - a U.S. government organization that regulates television - about this month's Super Bowl broadcast... and nearly all of them were about Rihanna's halftime performance.
One California watcher even compared Rihanna's performance to that of Kim Petras and Sam Smith at the Grammys, commenting... "This year the halftime show was so indecent I had to turn off the TV because of the pornographic content."
In Utah, one fan complained, "This year's halftime show contained so much obscene material that I had to turn off the television."
Meanwhile, people across the nation were appalled by the "overtly sexual dancing" and sexually explicit musical material.
When Rihanna did accomplish some dancing movements, they prompted complaints, including one from Florida "She extended her a** at the crack. She stroked the area of her jeans containing her labia three times."

Rihanna continues to make her musical comeback on her terms despite the criticisms.
Next month, the pop singer will perform "Lift Me Up," her Oscar-nominated song from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," live for the first time at the 2023 Academy Awards. ABC, which will broadcast the Oscars live from Los Angeles on March 12, announced Rihanna's presence Thursday.
Rihanna, a nine-time Grammy winner, was nominated for her first Oscar for "Lift Me Up," which was released last October. Also nominated for best original song are "Hold My Hand" by Lady Gaga from "Top Gun: Maverick" and "Naatu Naa" by RRR. Rihanna makes her victorious return to live performance after a five-year absence at the 2023 Super Bowl.
The Academy Awards are taking place exactly one month later. Her halftime performance consisted of a powerful combination of her most popular songs, including "Bitch Better Have My Money," "We Found Love," "Work," and "Umbrella," performed by a large dance troop on a series of floating stages above the field.
