Cardi B 'Enjoying' Her Community Service Resulting From 'Ordering an Attack' on Bartenders

Cardi B is completing her 15 days of community service one day at a time, and it appears that a portion of her workload was allotted for the pleasure of New York City police officers.

The NY Post reports that the rapper visited the NYPD Police Academy in Queens on Friday for what appears to be a formal appearance she arranged with some higher-ups in the force.

Some of her visit was captured on tape while policemen in training cheered her on.

TMZ has learnt that Cardi's performance at the NYPD Academy was intended for children, specifically young ladies. According to reports, she attended the Girl Talk police mentorship program, thereby serving the community and keeping her promise.

It is unclear how long CB was there or what she did, other than a bit of dancing that can be seen on tape, but it appears that this contributed to her court obligation.

She discussed after her court hearing how this would definitely count toward her court-ordered community service. In one tweet, she stated, "My brains are burning from waking up early ,community service then studio....but I did the crime 'I only have myself to blame.'"

Cardi B then asserted that community service has altered her outlook on life. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper and mother (real name: Belcalis Almánzar) revealed on social media that she has begun her 15 days of community service this week, as part of a plea agreement stemming from a 2018 strip club brawl in Queens, New York. She then described how the experience has opened her eyes to something greater than herself.

"Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me. Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever," Cardi, 30, tweeted.

Cardi's court case stemmed from an incident that occurred in August 2018, when two bartenders at Angel's Strip Club alleged that Cardi ordered an attack on them because she suspected her husband Offset had an affair with one of them. In September, the musician pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of third-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Ten charges against him were withdrawn.

She accepted a plea agreement that included a three-year order of protection against the women engaged in the altercation and community service. The first deadline for Cardi to complete the service was last month, but it has been extended to March 1.
