Paris Hilton may be an open book, but when it comes to her son, she's anything but.
According to reports, the socialite/singer kept her son's birth a secret from everyone-even her mother and best friend did not know until a week later.
"We're just so excited to start our family and can't wait for you to see him. But for now, you've just been keeping everything really private," she explained in her podcast "This Is Paris."
"No one knew, literally, until he was, like, over a week old. So it was really nice just to have that with Carter, our own journey together," she continued.
Ironically, one of the major reasons why she decided to keep much about her baby's birth private was because of her life as a socialite and celebrity.
"I just feel that my life has been so public, and I've never really had anything just be mine," she reflected. "I feel like just my life in so many ways has been invaded."
Hilton wanted everything on the down-low, so much so that she even wore a disguise when she went to see her baby's birth.
"Not even my mom, my sisters, my best friend knew until he was over a week old," she revealed.
"When I introduced my mom to our baby boy, it was amazing to see the look on her face,
"She was so surprised - just the look on her face, it was priceless."
Apparently, it wasn't just Hilton who wanted to keep everything private-even her husband Carter Reum agreed to all the secrecy.
"So Carter and I literally made a pact together that we would not tell anyone, and no one knew until just recently."
Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum
Hilton also finally shared pictures of her newborn via Instagram and announced his name: Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.
She welcomed him last month via surrogacy, which is probably why his birth could easily be kept a secret from family, friends, and fans.
Hilton also revealed that it was her pal Kim Kardashian who gave her the idea to opt for IVF.
"I went and did the one round of IVF because Kim had told me about it. So I had eggs frozen," she noted.
"Carter and I had already been talking about the future, and then the world was shut down, so I was like, 'What do you think about us making embryos?'"
"And he said, 'Yeah, let's do it.' And we've done it seven times...I have all boys. I have 20 boys," she revealed.
Furthermore, the socialite/singer also shared that she wants to have a baby girl in the future.
