Madonna was embroiled in a bitter family feud before the death of her homeless brother Anthony Ciccone.

Last week, it was discovered that Anthony, the singer's oldest brother, died at the age of 66.

When his brother-in-law Joe Henry, the husband of her sister Melanie, announced the news, Madonna remained silent on social media and simply liked her relative's post.

According to insiders, the Queen of Pop and her family got into a disagreement about Anthony in 2014. Around that time, an insider told me that he was living in a garage with several of his buddies and was unable to walk due to a damaged ankle.

Madonna, who is worth $850 million, had turned her back on her brother as her father Tony and other siblings sought to aid Anthony.

They went on to add that Anthony, along with his second wife Mario, and Madonna were "done with Anthony forever. They didn't believe he deserved another shot."

Anthony Ciccone lived beneath a bridge and was brought back home several times by his family throughout the years. Madonna reportedly cut him off, which hurt their sister Paula.

Around that moment, Anthony also discussed his famous sister telling a reporter that Madonna didn't care if he died. "I doubt she'd recognize me," he continued.

Anthony also stated that the last time he saw Madonna was at the grand opening of the State Theater in Traverse City some years ago, but he did not approach her.

The Truth

Despite their turbulent relationship, TMZ stated that Madonna was caring for Anthony Ciccone soon before his death.

In reality, they proved that they were not estranged.

According to the site, Madonna was paying for Anthony's stay at a Michigan recovery clinic before he died over the weekend.

Anthony reportedly removed the feeding and breathing tubes that the doctor had placed in him two days before he died.

Insiders said he was in declining condition at the end, losing a lot of weight, and understood that removing the equipment that aided him would result in his death.

Their family members, including Paula and their father, were said to have visited him in his dying days, with Paula staying at his bedside for the majority of it.

For years, Madonna and other family have apparently been actively attempting to assist Anthony. Yet, he was the one who refused help since life on the streets and drinking had become usual for him.
