Speaking to People Magazine, the singer said her latest project felt like the "safest way to go" when it comes to beauty procedures as it doesn't contain any additives.
Since Aguilera is popularly known for her riffs and intense emotions while singing on stage, the "Your Body" hitmaker wants to maintain a "natural look" instead of a "frozen face."
"Whether it's being on-camera or performing onstage, I have to stay authentic to my emotion," she said.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Grammy Award-winning musician took the opportunity to open the conversation surrounding aging as many people have been viewing it in a negative approach.
"I'm really into feeling more self-assured as you get older. That's the thing to truly embrace. It's harmful when [aging] becomes an obsession," she noted.
Being in the industry for more than two decades now, Aguilera said working in her chosen field helped her embrace herself, especially her physical appearance and womanhood as the public would always have a perception of women regardless of what they do and wear, but in her case, she always put the artistry her number one priority.

Aside from her recent love for injectables, Christina Aguilera also has a secret behind her transformative look after shocking fans with her 50-pound weight loss last year.
Sportskeeda reported that the musician has a balanced diet plan consisting of white foods and carb consumption restriction.
The outlet noted that the pop star mainly eats bananas, egg whites, cauliflowers, garlic, bananas, and more. She also focused on green foods which include kiwi, kale broccoli, cucumber, lettuce, and Brussels sprouts.
For her workout routine, Aguilera follows a series of exercises including Pilates, yoga, strength training, crunches, squats, treadmill running, and more.
