Many claim Nicki Minaj's latest single for 2023, "Red Ruby Da Sleeze," is a trash song against one of her fellow rappers.

Her most recent single, which was released on March 3, sparked significant speculation that it was aimed towards Megan Thee Stallion.

A certain lyric in the song has fanned the notion, where the "Super Bass" hitmaker raps, "I don't f-k with horses since Christopher Reeves."

This is a nod to the late actor known as "Superman," who was injured in a horse-riding accident in 1995.

Several fans speculated that the statement was aimed towards Megan, whose stage name incorporates the word "Stallion."

Yet, another line in the song supports the idea where Nicki raps, "That .40 cal make 'em dance like a go-go."

The lyric is supposed to be a reference to Tory Lanez's claimed shooting incident with Megan, as a.40 caliber Glock 22 was recovered at the site, according to reports. Tory was found guilty of shooting Megan.

Fans are divided on whether the song is about Megan Thee Stallion, with some taking Nicki Minaj's words at their value and others dismissing it as harmless wordplay.

Fans are ecstatic about Nicki's song, which appeared at the top of the iTunes list in less than an hour and was the first female rap song to top the chart this year.

Another fan tweeted how they were speechless and called Nicki Minaj a "lethal lyricist."

"The absence of a music video for 'Red Ruby Da Sleeze' has not stopped people from talking about it," another person said.

Several fans, however, criticized Nicki for mentioning Megan's trauma in her songs.

"This just proves she's the one with the issue and wants to smoke with Meg. When Meg clocks her tea, I don't want to hear it!"

Are Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion Feuding?

Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion collaborated on the song "Hot Girl Summer," but their connection was strained when the latter collaborated with Cardi B on "WAP," which some fans felt was a betrayal of the "Side To Side" singer.

Nevertheless, their dispute heated up last year when Nicki released a remix of "Super Freaky Girl" the same week Megan released "Traumatize."

Many thought that Megan's lyrics in "Gift & A Cuse" were a direct shot at Nicki's 2014 single, "Feeling Myself," and that the latter's remix included a new line comparing the sales of her "Beam Me Up Scotty" mixtape to Megan's "Something For Thee Hotties" collection.

In 2019, the "Anaconda" rapper expressed frustration with fans who pit female rappers against each other, saying "I hate the fact that [people do that]. It's really like a lot of the fans."
