Lil Baby recently attended this year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards and many fans were divided as some of them deemed his performance "inappropriate" for younger audiences.
According to B106, the rapper played the song "California Breeze" from his recent album "It's Only Me." Although the outlet noted that the version he performed was clean, online users immediately called him out as the song contained sexually explicit lyrics.
"I can't lie, she be f*****' me good, but, girl, you f*** me better," some of the lyrics read.
Per Genius, the song is about Lil Baby flaunting his extravagant lifestyle, people's loyalty to him, and his previous relationships.
After the show, many fans immediately called the rapper out on social media for his performance, with one user writing, "Nickelodeon got some explainin' to do [for real]."
"Why on earth is lil baby performing at the kids choice awards," another fan wrote.
Some users opened up the conversation about songs that are being released in today's generation, saying none of them are appropriate anymore and some of the negative reactions that the rapper had been receiving is "selective outrage."

"Y'all worried about Lil Baby Performing at the Kids choice awards but your kids know every word to Glorilla songs and s*** and they are twerking," one wrote.
One user also pointed out that why are people mad over the rapper when The Weeknd also won a Kids Choice Award for his song "I Can't Feel My Face," which is about doing drugs.
As of this writing, Nickelodeon has yet to address the matter.
