As Miley Cyrus sang on the "Hannah Montana: The Movie," you will always find your way back home! Indeed, she is returning to Disney for her comeback "Backyard Sessions" on the release of her new album, "Endless Summer Vacation."
The announcement came days before the 14th Anniversary of her iconic song, "The Climb," was released.
Miley Cyrus' Backyard Sessions' on Disney Plus
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cyrus will be executively producing her upcoming Disney Plus special.
The "Backyard Sessions" on Disney Plus will coincide with the release of her upcoming eighth studio album, "Endless Summer Vacation," on Mar. 10, 2023.
The album, whose lead single is the chart-topper "Flowers," will contain another demo version of the worldwide sensation and collaborations from Sia and Brandi Carlile.
Shot and framed in the house where Frank Sinatra once lived in Los Angeles, Cyrus will also perform a medley of some of her classic hits, although it was not indicated which among all of them will be performed. The house whose backyard Cyrus will perform at is the same house where she shot the "Flowers" music video at.
Cyrus famously started her career on Disney Channel as one of its main stars back then, along with Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. She was in "Hannah Montana" and has appeared in several crossovers and other Disney Channel original movies back then.

Miley Cyrus' "Backyard Sessions" announcement came days before Mar. 5, 2023, today, which is the 14th year anniversary of her song, "The Climb."
"The Climb" was released as part of the "Hannah Montana: The Movie" soundtrack and went on to be one of Cyrus' most popular and well-loved songs.

The song went on to reap many awards, including a Grammy Nomination for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television, or Other Visual Media but was eventually withdrawn by Disney. The song won Best Song From a Movie at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards and Teen Choice Awards, among many other award-giving bodies.
