Katy Perry is receiving criticism for remarks she made about the voice of an "American Idol" competitor.
The 25-year-old mother of three, Sara Bethe Liebe, was quite uncomfortable as she stood in front of Perry, Lionel Richie, 73, and Luke Bryan, 46. It went from startling to being downirght mean, according to the viewers.
"Freak us out, Freaky Friday," Perry said on Sunday. Perry, who just uploaded a throwback photo of herself, then made a harsh remark about her young age as a mother of three.
She then asked, "Is this your dream?" She added, "If it's not your dream, you might need to leave because there's a lot of dreams behind you."
Perry interrupted Liebe's performance of "You Know I'm No Good" by Amy Winehouse by exclaiming, "Come on, we need more," as Liebe proceeded.
Perry responded, "That's not enough" after Leibe finished singing. "Try Bennie and the Jets," she said, adding that Liebe had nothing to lose since it was "not her dream yet."
Perry pushed her to show them what her voice is capable of, push yourself to the limit, and never look back. She added, "Sing it like it's your new dream." Liebe attempted to incorporate Perry's suggestions into her second song, while Perry continued to yell demands at her while she sang. "Add to that! Hold on,' Perry urged, before labeling her the "Accidental American Idol."

Perry stated, "I feel like a comic strip character just came to life," while Bryan acknowledged his "passion" for Liebe's portrayal.
Perry told her, "Look, if it's not your goal, you're not going to get very far because I admire everyone walking through that door who will lay down their life for this golden ticket [to Hollywood]."
Ryan and Perry voted for Liebe to go to the next round, while Richie voted against her by "going with his gut."
"Sara Beth, you're in the dream now. Go get your golden ticket. Hurry before the dream ends," Perry said, dismissing Leibe as if she's disregarding her, pissing more viewers.
"American Idol" fans were quick to criticize Perry's conduct.
"I strongly disapprove of how Katy Perry recently treated Sara Beth on AmericanIdol. They permitted Katy Perry to harass this woman on live national television before she began singing," one said.
"Very nasty," a Twitter user commented.
Another supporter added, "Boo to Katy Perry for mother-shaming Sara Beth."
Insinuating that she "laid on the table too much" to have three children by the age of 25. A young mother who pursues her dreams while raising her children should not be put down.
Yet, other individuals concurred with Perry's appraisal of Liebe. Katy Perry judging a contestant and a contestant-judging program? Shocking. Have heard of @SimonCowell? tweeted a fan. Meanwhile, another individual remarked, "Honesty is now considered bullying."
