Is Ariana Grande performing at King Charles III's Coronation?
The "Thank U Next" singer is said to be meeting with a top royal family member as The Firm continues to look for musicians to play at the highly publicized event.
Musicians such as Adele, Elton John, and Harry Styles have allegedly declined invitations to play for King Charles III's upcoming Coronation.
The Spice Girls and Robbie Williams are among the other performers who have refused invites to perform at the historic event, according to Rolling Stone.
The 29-year-old former Nickelodeon star is now in London filming "Wicked," in which she will play Glinda the Good against award-winning actress Cynthia Erivo.
The film will be divided into two parts. The first will be issued around Christmas 2024, and the second around the same time next year.
The two films will also be directed by Jon M. Chu, with "Jurassic Park" actors Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh joining the star-studded cast.
The Sun reported that the cast will receive a royal guest this week, as Prince Edward is slated to see the set.
According to an insider, the royal's visit was kept a secret. He has been invited as a special guest and will meet the cast of the film, which includes Ariana Grande.
Aides to King Charles III are reported to be drafting a list of musicians for the Coronation, which will take place on May 6, and the insider feels that now is the ideal moment for Prince Edward to ask the "Die For You" hitmaker if she might sing at the occasion.
According to the source, insiders close to the singer have indicated that she would not attend or perform at the Coronation.
