"Dear younger me, please don't be afraid to ask for help," Gomez, 30 years old, captioned an Instagram post on March 8 that featured a photo of herself as a child. The post emerged amidst the resurfaced "feud" between Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber - something everyone thought is over and done with...until they are here again.

"Today is International Women's Day and I want each of us to be gentler to ourselves. Write your younger self a @RareBeauty #rarereminder and stick it on your mirror to remind yourself that you deserve the world. Love you," she added.

This post of reminder comes after a brief hiatus from social media, triggered by an alleged breakdown.

After commenting with multiple tweets regarding her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber's wife, Gomez decided to take a break from social media last month. Gomez stated in a TikTok livestream on February 23, days before returning to her platforms, "I'm 30, I'm too old for this. But I love you guys so much, and I will see you guys sooner than later. I'm just gonna take a break from everything."

Prior to the announced break, the star of "Only Murders in the Buildin"g raised eyebrows when she responded to a resurrected TikTok of Hailey, 26, acting as if she were choking while discussing Taylor Swift on Drop the Mic. Gomez responded, "So sorry, my best friend is and continues to be one of the best in the game."

"The Wizards of Waverly Place" alum is no new to rumors regarding her rocky public relationship with Hailey after her breakup from Justin, 29. Gomez dated the musician intermittently between 2010 and 2018. Justin restarted his relationship with Hailey four months after Us Weekly announced that Gomez and Justin had ended their relationship for good, in September 2018, and they wed.

Since then, the model has addressed the online hatred she got because of her marriage."I'm like, I don't know [why he picked me]. We fell in love. There were times where I can confidently say I don't think we knew it was going to be each other," she said on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in September 2022. "Several times. I can't say that at 18 years old I knew that was my husband. I didn't f-king know." The native of Texas, for her part, appeared to respond to Hailey's words. Gomez told her fans during a TikTok livestream at the time to stop being mean to Bieber's wife because it's not something she would ever condone.

A month later, Gomez and Hailey were all smiles in images taken at a Los Angeles gathering commemorating their reconciliation. In addition to hugging each other while posing for photographs, they have yet to provide an update on their relationship in light of their recent social media dispute.
