Anitta is one of the biggest Latin stars to come out of 2022. With the success of her song "Envolver," the Brazilian superstar is set out to conquer new heights this 2022, especially with the prominence she gained last year.
However, in her recent social media posts written in Portuguese, it seems like the singer is in a rift with her music label, Warner Records.
In a series of Instagram Story explainers, Anitta detailed the obstacles and hurdles she has been facing in her dispute with her record label.

"Communication at Warner is so good that [they're] posting me on a Happy women's day looping post, even tho I had to go public to ask for the 'woman respect' that this date represents," she wrote in the caption of a post where her photo was used by the label for a Happy International Women's Day greeting.
She even embedded the song, which she claims that the label refers to that would "never break" without a featured artist, saying she wasn't strong enough to release it on her own.
Anitta's "Envolver" made history at the MTV VMAs 2022 as the first video made by a female artist who won Best Latin Video.
In another story, Anitta furthered that instead of a "cute post," she would most likely love to tell the CEO what he promised her a month ago.
Turns out, she asked how much it would cost to finish the contract, but in response, she was told that it "wouldn't happen."
"respect ME, the young women, giving at least a little real importance to the fair honest and respectful talk I asked had with you, instead of sending your laywers to talk to mine about money when I did say that I already accepted the sad unfair fact that I'm the major investor here and asked the label to just do the simple job they were 19 supposed to: PROMOTE MY MUSIC," she furthered.
Anitta's rant continued on her Instagram account, even sharing an email that she sent the label, almost sounding like she was begging to be cut off from the label. The pop star has been a part of Warner Music's US lineup since January 2020 because of a partnership with Warner Music Latina.
