Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have postponed another show because of an "illness," but no one knows what it is or who is sick.
According to reports, after postponing their show in Columbus, the band once again announced that they postponed their shows in Connecticut and then their show in Albany.
As of this writing, there isn't any news yet on when the rescheduled dates, but Little Steven has already reassured fans to sit tight and just wait for further announcements.
"No need to be anxious or afraid," he wrote. "Nothing serious. Just a temporary situation. We will be back in full force very soon."
This was hit reply to a fan who shared their worries for Springsteen and the E Street Band over Twitter: "We are praying. Money or travel is not important, health comes first! But an official note? You are fine? Is Bruce okay? E Street fans are anxious and afraid."
Health Concerns
Springsteen and the E Street Band have faced multiple roadblocks during their North American tour since they launched it back in February.
According to reports, some of the band members had to sit out on some shows because they contracted Covid, like Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, Jake Clemons, and Soozie Tyrell.
Despite all the hiccups, Van Zandt gave emphasis that the show must always go on.
"Postponed," he wrote on Twitter. "We don't cancel."
Despite the comforting news that fans will still get the chance to watch Springsteen and the E Street Band, many were disappointed with the postponements, as many of them had flown in from different states and even countries to watch them perform.
"What's the word? Concerning," a fan wrote.
"This tour is not going well," another wrote. "First, the fiasco about the ticket prices. Then, lots of complaints from long-time fans about the lack of variety in the set lists. Now, postponed shows due to illness. I'm a longtime fan and this saddens me."
"Hope whoever isn't well in the band makes a swift recovery," another fan wrote.
"There is only one member of the band they cannot get a temporary replacement for. Sending prayers."
Springsteen is 73 years old, and he is no stranger to a number of health concerns over the years.
According to reports, the singer grapples with mental health struggles throughout the years.
"All I do know is as we age, the weight of our unsorted baggage becomes heavier . . . much heavier," he told a magazine before.
"With each passing year, the price of our refusal to do that sorting rises higher and higher..."
