2023 CMT Music Awards Announce More of Star-Studded Lineup: Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, MORE

One of the biggest award shows in country music is just around the corner, and it just announced another round of its star-studded lineup.

As per the CMT Music Awards website, aside from performances from Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, and Katelyn Brown, this year's lineup of performers will include Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, and Cody Johnson.

Fans who are hoping to catch a glimpse of these stars can watch them live at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on Apr. 2, while those who can't go to the event can just stream it on CBS or Paramount+.

Aside from the live show, a CMT Music Awards Extended Cut will also be airing a few days after the said event, on Apr. 6. It will reportedly include bonus content as well as performances.

Star-Studded, Nominated

This year's lineup of performers are not only star-studded, they also happen to be nominated.

According to Billboard, Wilson, who is leading this year's roster of nominees, received four nods: video of the year for "Wait in the Truck" with HARDY; collaborative video of the year for "Wait in the Truck" again; female video of the year for "Heart like a Truck"; and CMT performance of the year for "Never Say Never," which she performed at the 2022 CMT Music Awards with Cole Swindell.

Even this year's hosts have been nominated! Kane and Katelyn Brown were nominated for video of the year and collaborative video of the year for "Thank God."

Kane received a nod for "Like I Love Country Music" under the male video of the year category.

On the other hand, Ballerini's "Heartfirst" is nominated for video of the year and female video of the year.

Pearce received two nods: one for female video of the year for "What He Didn't Do"; and CMT performance of the year for "One Way Ticket" for which she collaborated with LeAnn Rimes and Ashley McBryde from "CMT Crossroads: LeAnn Rimes & Friends."

Shelton's "No Body" is nominated for video of the year, as does Urban's "Wild Hearts"; the latter is also nominated for CMT performance of the year.

According to USA Today, other nominees for the big night include Ashley McBryde, Caylee Hammack, Brandy Clark, Elle King, Pillbox Patti, HARDY, Dierks Bentley, Gabby Barrett, Jimmie Allen, Little Big Town, Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, and Luke Combs.

The breakthrough video of the year is broken down into two subcategories: male and female, as well as the breakthrough artist award.
