Wale Responds To Kendrick Lamar 'Control' Verse, Treats Inclusion On Diss Track As Badge Of Honor [VIDEO]

The streak of "rappers who weren't mentioned by Kendrick Lamar in his "Control" verse" being the only ones to respond to the track is over...kind of. Wale has given TMZ his thoughts on being called out by K-Dot, essentially calling inclusion on the diss track an honor.

"I'd of been offended if my name wasn't in that sh**," Wale said, "So shout out to TDE and shout out to Kendrick."

The "LoveHate Thing" rapper seems to view a mention in the verse as proof that he is in the same class as hip-hop legends.

"I would've felt a way if my name wasn't in the verse," said Wale (which might explain why the only responses have been from rappers who weren't mentioned like B.O.B. and Lupe Fiasco).

"I still feel like I'm the best rapper on the planet and you should, too, TMZ," Wale said.

So far, the only halfway decent response to Kendrick's over-hyped list of names has come from Lupe Fiasco, who eviscerated the Compton rapper on "SLR 2."

A sampling of the Chicago rappers response:

He's so crazy, look at the little baby
Nigga you ain't Nas, nigga you ain't Jay-Z
You will respect me, you will reject me
But I've done so much, no matter how far you go, you will reflect me

What do you think? Should Wale come up with an official response? Why has no one named fired back?
