Hozier just turned 33 today! Happy Birthday, Hozier!
Formally known as Andrew John Hozier-Byrne, or commonly known as Hozier, the Irish native was born on Mar. 17, 1990, in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.
Hozier Biography
He is born to a family of musicians. His father, John Byrne, was a local blues drummer and a banker in the morning.
At the age of 15, Hozier has already been educated on playing the guitar and singing in the school choir.
He then attended Trinity College in Dublin. However, he was refused by the school's administration for a year of deferral after he missed his examinations for recording demos for a music label back then.
In 2013, Hozier started writing songs. His now-multiplatinum song "Take Me To Chuch" was written that year. Since then, his career has taken off.
He released his album, "Hozier," debuting No. 1 in Ireland, No. 2 in the Billboard 200, and No. 3 on the UK Albums charts. His second album, "Wasteland, Baby!" launched both at No. 1 in Ireland and in the United States while peaking only at No. 6 in the United Kingdom.
His last extended play, "Nina Cried Power," was released in 2018, and it launched at No. 60 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Very recently, Hozier released his newest EP, "Eat Your Young." It is his new music since 2018.
