Lady Gaga shocked the audience at the Dolby Theater and viewers from all around the world with her performance of "Hold My Hand" at the Oscars as she showcased her flawless vocals with a simple outfit. More recently, the musician released a video of herself rehearsing the song.
The video was shared numerous times by fans online and it features Mother Monster wearing her Versace gown while playing the piano and singing the song before hitting the red carpet.
This is different from the official version as Gaga's rehearsals only include a piano instrumental without the emotional beats of the original song.
After the video made rounds on the internet, especially on Twitter, fans rejoiced and commended the Oscar Award-winning singer for her vocals.
Fans React on Lady Gaga's Flawless Vocals
"Just like the old days when we always got a stripped down piano version of each single. I truly hope she does a tour in the future of nothing but her and the piano," one wrote.
"OMG a piano version of Hold My Hand! Lady Gaga never disappoints Love the movie version but (imo) there's a DISCONNECT between the grand, majestic arrangement (that befits Top Gun: Maverick)," another fan wrote.
Another fan requested a new album from the pop star that only features acoustic songs, writing, "Desperately in need of an acoustic album. Just Gaga and the piano."
Lady Gaga Oscar Performance: Pop Star Only Became Available at the Last Minute
Initially, many were disappointed when it was announced that Lady Gaga won't be performing at this year's Academy Awards, but many were surprised when the musician was revealed to be singing all this time at the last minute; how did it happen?
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Ricky Kirshner said he had an amazing relationship with the "House of Gucci" star as they previously worked in projects like the Super Bowl Halftime Show and her "Shallow" performance with Bradley Cooper.
Lady Gaga was initially busy with her schedule filming the "Joker" sequel titled "Folie à Deux," but she really wanted to do something for the occasion.
"And Thursday, at four-something, we got a text that she wanted to try something, didn't have time to put together a big performance, but wanted it to be raw and people to see the real Gaga, and, with a voice like that, you don't need much more than that," he revealed.
The musician then performed a stripped-back version of the song "Hold My Hand" from "Top Gun: Maverick."
