Things got out of hand during the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic between Mexico and Puerto Rico on Mar. 17.
According to Complex, among the audience was rapper 6ix9ine who was there, rooting for the Mexican team.
The rapper showed up at LoanDepot Park in Miami with a large Mexican flag and was a little too drunk.
"He was heavily intoxicated and interrupting other guests' experience," a source told Page Six.
Other than being drunk, a reporter on the scene noted that many people in his section did not like 6ix9ine being there at all.
In fact, a member of the audience in his section threw a beer can at the rapper to prove a point.
Beer-Can Incident
A video of the altercation shows 6ix9ine celebrating in the front row, waving the Mexican flag when someone chucked the car right at him, missing his face by inches.
The reporter who witnessed the incident captioned the video: "6ix9ine is in the building waving a Mexico flag. A Puerto Rico fan wasn't having it and threw a beer can right by his head."
"He was drunk, he was inebriated and he was out of control," said a witness to the incident. "There were a lot of families there last night and he was bothering people."
According to reports, 6ix9ine was eventually escorted out from the baseball match by security personnel.
Whether the rapper was banned from LoanDepot Park, remains unclear, but after being kicked out of his section, he did not return, which many took as a sign that he was indeed booted from the entire stadium.
