All while being the next popular coach at "The Voice," former One Direction member Niall Horan was spotted hanging out with US President Joe Biden at The White House last Mar. 17, 2023.
Horan's arrival at The White House came in congruence with the celebration of St. Patrick's Day in Ireland, held annually every March 17. St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland.
Why Was Niall Horan at The White House?
According to NME, Horan was at The White House as he was invited by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for the St. Patrick's Day Celebration Performance inside the building.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House Press Secretary, teased the arrival and attendance of Horan at the White House a day prior in a tweet.
"It doesn't get better than this! I think I speak for all the music lovers in the Biden-Harris Administration when I say we cannot wait to welcome @NiallOfficial to the White House tomorrow for a special performance to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!" she said in a tweet.
Fans, upon seeing the tweet, were elated.
"I WILL BE IN DC THE SAME TIME AS NIALL HORAN!?" a user asked.
"i'm 30 minutes away what do i have to do to see this performance?" another echoed.
"Niall is performing at The White House tomorrow. You are in for a treat. Niall is the nicest person on the planet," someone said.
"i just wanna know what time so i can there outside waiting for him," a fan posted.
As for Horan, he was "honored" to be invited and represent his country, as he was looking forward to the invitation at The White House.
In his Instagram, Horan posted a video reel of his visit to the White House, saying his well-wishes for everyone on St. Patrick's Day. President Biden was also gracious enough to be included in the video, saying how proud and thankful he was that he celebrated St. Patrick's Day with Horan at The White House.
Hailing from Mullingar, Westmeath, Ireland, Niall Horan gained prominence from "X-Factor UK" in 2010, where he became a part of One Direction.

On the 23rd Season of "The Voice" on NBC, Horan replaced Camila Cabello as Coach of the well-loved reality singing competition.
