Miley Cyrus reclaimed the summit of the Billboard Hot 100 as her song "Flowers," blossomed back to the top after falling to the second spot for the past two weeks.
It was Ariana Grande and The Weeknd's remix of "Die For You" that halted Cyrus' race for seven consecutive weeks. Morgan Wallen's "Last Night," from his most recent album, "One Thing At A Time," dipped to No. 2 this week after a triumphant debut last week.
Miley Cyrus Billboard Hot 100 Record
Coined by many as a revenge anthem, Miley Cyrus' sensational "Flowers," has climbed back to No. 1 after two weeks sitting at No. 2. It successfully dethroned last week's topper, Morgan Wallen, pulling "Last Night" at the second.
But despite her bump to No. 2 in the past few weeks, "Flowers" remained the biggest song on the radio for a tantalizing five weeks atop the charts. Its 106.7 radio airplay impression has been the highest since "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd reached 114.6 million in May 2020.
Billboard reported that "Flowers," became the first song by a woman in the 2020 decade who had a 100 million airplay audience for multiple weeks. The last one was Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" in 2019.
Concurrently, "Flowers" is at No. 2 on both the Streaming Songs Charts and Digital Song Sales. It led both charts for four and five weeks, respectively.
To date, "Flowers" is Miley Cyrus' longest chart leader in her music career. Her 2013 song "Wrecking Ball" only lasted three weeks, while "Flowers," logged its tenth total week atop.
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 Update

SZA's "Kill Bill," apart from both leading the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B Songs charts for a whopping 13 weeks, now sits at No. 3, a spot lower from its No. 2 peak.
"Die For You (Remix)" holds the fort at No. 4 as Metro Boomin's "Creepin'" crept back to No. 5. PinkPantheress and Ice Spice's "Boy's a Liar, Pt. 2" dipped to No. 6, while Taylor Swift's monumental "Anti-Hero" follows at No. 7.
Selena Gomez and Rema's "Calm Down" raced to No. 8 from No. 19, while two more of Morgan Wallen's tracks from "One Thing At A Time" occupied No. 9 and No. 10 - "Thought You Should Know" and "You Proof."
