Is there a way to top the universally acclaimed "Rhapsody" tour in 2019? Well, Brian May sure thinks they can do it again-and better.
Queen and Adam Lambert are heading back on the road again for another jaw-dropping, heart-racing tour in North America this fall 2023.
According to reports, the trio will mark their return onstage on Oct. 4 in Baltimore's CFG Bank Arena.
They will then head on to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, then New York's world-famous Madison Square Garden.
On Oct. 18, they will be performing at TD Garden in Boston, Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, and the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Followed by a night at United Center in Chicago, American Airlines Center in Dallas, Ball Arena in Denver, Chase Center in San Francisco, then finally finish at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
'One More Time'
When asked whether this will be Queen's last tour with Lambert, May clarified that the "Rhapsody" tour is not a farewell tour by any means.
"Let me be clear, this is not a farewell tour. You can always do one more time ... and then one more time ... and then another time after that!" He laughed.
Lambert also joined in, "Yeah, why limit yourself, guys?"
'Improvements'
While the tour dates have already been released, the group stayed tight-lipped about the "improvements" they have been talking about in their press releases.
"Well, we're not gonna tell you that much, we don't want to spoil it," May said. "But the nice things is that the material is what ultimately gives the ideas, and we're able to develop those ideas as we go along. We get to throw more and more stuff in, production-wise."
"I will say, the technology has come so far, even in the 10 years that we've worked together," added Lambert.
"It gives us so much freedom when it comes to what we want to create, what environment we want to put around a song. We have all of these toys that we get to play with, which we all get a big kick out of."
"Once the show kicks off, the show is never locked. It's never the same show every night, we have the ability to throw a new song in, move the set around, change the visuals. There's so much freedom."
