Many fans are still streaming and listening to Ghost's latest album "Impera," but it appears that the band is ready to release more music in the near future as teased by Tobias Forge; will it drop before they embark on a tour this year?
According to Loudwire, the frontman spoke to French radio station OUI FM where he noted that the group could potentially drop new music soon.
The conversation about a possible new song began when he was asked about doing a "By Request" tour in the future like what Metallica did almost a decade ago.
In his response, Forge said, "The thing is that we always try to change things around, and now just because there has been - there are going to be a few changes. There might be, between now and then, there might be new music. Um, I'm just saying!"
As of this writing, the musician has not shared more details about the new song.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the musician noted that their upcoming tour will have a different setup compared to their previous ones.
He also noted that if ever they plan to have a "by request" tour, he will not be against the concept of doing a poll of what their fans would want to hear.

They will also play tracks that they don't usually play, and the reason why they don't perform them is because of a practical point of view.
"when I'm saying, 'hard to play,' that is not a dare to online YouTube guitar players... Sometimes, a song can be hard to play well, so it sounds good. So, it feels good. So it fits well in the set," he added.
