Latto is bound to take off with her new radio show on Apple Music, but the internet thought that it was a huge copycat from Nicki Minaj's "Queen Radio."
Minaj and Latto have been butting heads since the latter directly attacked the former during the Grammy Awards nomination season after the former's banger hit, "Super Freaky Girl," was recategorized as Pop rather than HipHop.

Latto is entering radio through her "777 Radio" show on Apple Music 1. The teaser, posted on the streaming platform's social media accounts, featured the "Big Energy" rapper in flight attendant costume, announcing pre-takeoff announcements as she winks with a version of herself, a VIP passenger onboard the aircraft. "I'm going to keep it very personal and play what I actually listen to. I'm going to highlight new artists that I feel like the world needs to hear, artists that I think deserve more spotlight," the rapper said in a statement about the show. "I listen to a lot of female rap, so definitely supporting the girls, and definitely a lot of Southern music."
Latto, who has been an underground rapper since 2016, has made significant strides in her career. But it was only in 2020 that she started gaining recognition from the BET Network, MTV Video Music Awards, and a Grammy nomination.
Back then, Latto had been vocal about her admiration of Nicki Minaj, a revered pop and rap icon of the newer generation. Publicly claiming that she is a "Barb," the colloquial name of Minaj's avid followers, she revealed that she had been following and emulating her since then.
Nicki Minaj, Latto Feud
Latto, on the verge of her breakthrough song, "Big Energy," initially wanted Nicki Minaj on her record, but despite many attempts, the Queen of Rap refused, as they both revealed in their very public Twitter spat.
Last year, when The Hollywood Reporter said in an exclusive report that Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girl" was recategorized into Pop rather than HipHop Grammy categories, the "Super Bass" rapper took to Twitter to call out the Recording Academy. She said that if her song would be recategorized, it would also be justified that "Big Energy," who is also a nominee, should also be recategorized as Pop as it sounds sonically the same.
This angered, Latto, launching a very public catfight between the two. Latto age-shamed Minaj, who she considered an idol and icon, with the internet siding with Minaj back then.

Since the teaser was posted, Barbz has called out Latto for allegedly copying Nicki Minaj's move to enter the radio space in 2018 from the same platform.
However, Minaj transferred to Amp, the radio platform of Amazon. Some users even pointed out that Latto ripped off the flight attendant costume idea from Saweetie, who also publicly claims to be a Barb.
