Robert Smith has been on a streak of airing his grievances on Ticketmaster, publicly announcing his frustrations on Twitter with the support of their fans.

Smith, the vocalist of The Cure, has been vocal about his displeasure with the Ticketing giant just as they announced their upcoming North America tour.

In another tweet, Smith demanded Ticketmaster an explanation for the "weird overpriced face-value" tickets that the ticketing giant has given their fans in the past few weeks.

"I AM ASKING ABOUT THE WEIRD OVER PRICED 'FACE VALUE' TICKETS THAT ARE POPPING UP HERE AND THERE..." he said in a tweet. This is one of his most recent tweets about Ticketmaster, following his public distrust of the company.

More so, fans are frustrated that the total price of the Ticketmaster service fees is higher than the actual price of the tickets.

A fan hoping to buy tickets to The Cure's Maryland concert is faced with almost $1400 non-transferable tickets for two people, while the same seats of the same value at other venues only cost $160.

If one checks his Twitter account, Smith's tweets were all about the ticketing fiasco that The Cure fans have been facing.

"I AM AS SICKENED AS YOU ALL ARE BY TODAY'S TICKETMASTER'S FEES' DEBACLE. TO BE VERY CLEAR: THE ARTIST HAS NO WAY TO LIMIT THEM. I HAVE BEEN ASKING HOW THEY ARE JUSTIFIED. IF I GET ANYTHING COHERENT BY WAY OF AN ANSWER I WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW. X," he tweeted in frustration.

In their previous announcements, The Cure revealed that they opted out of the highly-contested dynamic pricing scheme of Ticketmaster, which skyrockets ticket prices excessively on random seats because of high demands.

In another tweet by Smith, he revealed that a reliable source of him says that the booming resale and secondary market is tied up on their shows in Illinois, New York, and Colorado.

Ticketmaster has yet to respond to Robert Smith's demand for an explanation, as the Ticketing giant has been under immense public and government pressure because of their problematic merger with Live Nation.
