Loso's Way 2 has seemingly vanished into thin air. Fabolous is now prepping for a new release entitled Young OG, according to Complex.
Fabolous first announced Loso's Way 2 back in 2010, and as 2014 comes on its final months, there's still no sign of the album.
Fab recently spent some time with Complex's sneaker video series, Quickstrike, and he revealed the new title. It is possible that the album's many delays caused Fab to take a different route.
"This is kinda very early. I haven't really told anybody about that. This is breaking news," Fab said.
As fans may recall, Fab had a track called "Young OG" on his highly acclaimed Soul Tape 3.
Hopefully the announcement of the album's new name means some progress is being made.
Last year, the "My Time" rapper released a collaboration with Chris Brown called "Ready," which was slated to be featured on Loso's Way 2.
Fab offered up an interesting story behind the making of the track upon its release.
"Even the record that I just released. The joint with Chris Brown-I actually did that record a year and a half ago. Before we even released it," Fabolous explained, according to XXL. "Chris, had the thing with Rihanna and all that so we gave that space just to clear. That was a touchy situation. We wanted to let everything he had to get out of the way done and then we released it. Just so the radio could feel me back in the streets on the radio. You know what I'm saying? And then everybody would 'Oh okay, Fab is back.' We got a record going with 2 Chainz recently...In the meantime while I'm preparing this gourmet meal that I'm cooking up."
No word on what will become of the track or when to expect Young OG.
Stay tuned for updates.
