'The Film': Boygenius New Movie 2023

According to an Instagram post by the trio, they will be releasing a movie alongside the release of their album on Mar. 31, 2023.

"The Film," Boygenius' new movie, will be directed by Golden Globe nominee Kristen Stewart.

Watch Boygenius' "The Film" on YouTube from the band's official channel.

Their poster was posted on Boygenius' Instagram account, which prominently features Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus. Based on the visuals that the poster gives off, it could be likely that "The Film," Boygenius' new movie, would be of the thriller-horror genre.

If it has links to the band's new album, we have yet to know so far.

'The Record': Boygenius New Album 2023

"The Film," will be released alongside "The Record," the band's debut album.

According to NME, the album was a "gorgeous testament" when one would allow themselves to be fully seen. It also touched on how the work is a "brighter, bolder existence," which enabled them to light up individually as members of a trio while also shining together at the same time.

"Bridgers, Dacus and Baker did the tedious work of getting to know each other artistically and collaboratively and then poured what they found out into the world. Now, we as listeners, get to benefit," the review read.

Aside from a new album, Boygenius will also be embarking on a tour.

'The Tour': Boygenius US Tour 2023

Following the very simple titling of their new movie and new album, Boygenius will also be threading through North America for their highly-anticipated concert tour.
