Wiz Khalifa's Under The Influence tour stopped in Mountain View, CA Friday night (Aug. 22) and after the run of the show, a man was shot backstage.
According to NBC Bay Area, that man has died.
Police identified the victim as a 38-year-old. His name has not been released.
The news outlet says police are still looking for the suspect described as a man in his 20's with short hair between 5'6″ and 5'8″. At the time of the incident, he was wearing all black and perhaps white pants along with a red baseball cap.
The weapon used in the shooting is said to be a black pistol with a large magazine.
Following the shooting, police received multiple calls reporting shots fired at Shoreline Amphitheatre.
It has been reported that outside agencies also responded. Police spokesperson Shino Tanaka confirmed the shooting occurred backstage.
Officers also confirmed Friday there was one known victim who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
"We heard seven shots ... And then people started running everywhere," one witness said. "It sounded like they were coming from the backstage."
