Usher recently performed at the Dreamville Festival and to surprise fans, he called a special guest up to the stage, but concertgoers were confused.
According to Billboard, the musician was a headlining act at the Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 1.
In the middle of his show, fans were sent into a frenzy when Usher said, "I said I would have a special surprise for you tonight, ladies and gentlemen. You guys wanna know what that surprise is?"
He later revealed that the one and only Beyoncé would perform alongside him, saying, "without further ado, put your hands together for the one, the only, Beyoncé!"
The R&B star pretended he was waiting for the "Renaissance" hitmaker as fans continue to scream.
Many were confused as it took a while for the Grammy Award-winning artist to take the stage, but it appears that concertgoers were fooled as Usher later revealed that it was only a prank for April Fools day.

Beyoncé Updates 2023
Over the past few years, fans are enjoying Beyoncé's collaboration with Adidas called Ivy Park as it is a way for them to buy merch from the pop star at a cheaper price.
However, the apparel will not be available anymore as the pop superstar and the athletic clothing company have ended their professional ties.
As of this writing, there is still no information why the singer and company ended their collaboration.
Just a few months ago, the musician teased fans about an upcoming collection to her clothing line. It was unveiled in Dubai, a day before her solo concert where she was reportedly paid millions of dollars.
Adidas' Ivy Park line was founded in 2016. It was a deal between Beyoncé and the company, and both parties reportedly had a 50/50 deal on earnings.
Their initial deal stopped in 2018 as the global sensation got full ownership.
