On Duets Week at "American Idol," Stewart had to perform with fellow auditionee Fire, but she revealed to not been feeling well, seemingly getting sick.
Supposedly, they should be performing Adam Lambert's "Whatya Want From Me."
According to Fire, Kaya and she was "originally amazing" when they were initially rehearsing the number.
"Throughout the day she started getting sicker and sicker and started getting a fever and she couldn't remember the words. It was less and less progress. We were going in the opposite direction," she revealed.
Kaya understood the competition wholeheartedly, and she did not want to jeopardize Fire's chances of advancing into the competition with a "less than stellar" performance.
"I always want to give my best, and I'm not giving my best here," she furthered.
