What To Know About The Covenant School Mass Shooting

CBS News obtained court documents on Tuesday, revealing that the authorities found weapons, boxes of ammunition, a school photo, and yearbooks from The Covenant School while searching the home of the shooter, Audrey Hale.

They also found a "suicide note" but have not released the details regarding its content. Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department completed the nine-page search warrant where it listed the other items it recovered from the home during a search on the same day of the shooting.

According to the police, Hale has been under medical supervision but had spent months planning the mass shooting. Officers Rex Engelbert noted during the Tuesday briefing that the suspect did not know the layout of the school but could have done more if he did.
