Dustin Lynch is addicted to a whole new kind of drug: his fans.

Lynch greeted his fans when he attended Sunday's 2023 CMT Awards red carpet event. The country star shared what he has been up to lately and revealed how touring and performing in front of his fans keep him alive.

Dustin Lynch Expresses Gratitude to Fans

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly Sunday, the 37-year-old "Thinking 'Bout You" crooner revealed he has been touring locally and internationally. After years of performing, Lynch revealed he fell in love with the feeling of being on stage.

"There's no other adrenaline hit like that. There's no other drug like it on earth. And that connection with fans, I think what fuels me is just seeing the joy on other people's faces," he went on.

For Lynch, he experiences the best thing of all time whenever he sees fans joining his performances and smiling. As for the secret behind his success, the musician said that trusting his instincts and believing in what he is capable of doing helped him to achieve the things he has now.

As of press time, the crooner has already released five studio albums and received several accolades, including the Top New Artist of the Year at the 2014 ACMs and Male Video of the Year at the 2018 CMT Awards. He also collaborated with several A-listers, including Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, and Florida Georgia Line.

His fifth album, "Blue in the Sky," introduced his platinum-certified single "Thinking 'Bout You" and other hit songs "Fish in the Sea" and "Party Mode."

Dustin Lynch Opens Up About Touring With Kane Brown

Lynch also had a separate interview with ET (via CBS8) during the same carpet event. The publication asked him what it feels like to work with Brown in his "Drunk or Dreaming" tour.

The singer called Brown a "super laid-back" individual who also has an easygoing personality that makes touring more fun.

Brown's "Drunk or Dreaming" tour started its international leg in September 2022. He has since visited Australia, Canada, Europe, and the UK. His next show will happen on April 13 at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

On the other hand, Lynch will also have busy days ahead. He was tapped to perform at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel on July 8.
